Our simplest hosting package, this one's perfect for new start-ups. It does exactly what you need it to in the early days of your business – it'll get you up and running with two POP email accounts and a domain name for your website, making it ideal for new businesses with up to two employees...

You'll get round-the-clock technical support when you need it, webmail, email forwarding and an out-of-office response system. But please be aware – our basic account only includes 10GB of data transfer, so if you send and receive lots of emails, or have features on your website that are going to be downloaded lots of times, like short videos, PDFs or eBooks, then your data transfer quota gets eaten up pretty quickly.

As this is our entry-level hosting package, you don't get any storage space for saving emails, so once you delete them from your system, they're gone. Switch Basic isn't suitable for mobile email either, which means you can't check your messages from your phone. If you fancy checking emails on the go, have a look at Switch Standard.
