Perl Developers are required for a leading web hosting and ecommerce development organisation with clients across the UK and Ireland, haven gone through a substantial and exciting development and due to this they now require a range of experienced, professional and enthusiastic Perl Developers to join their team based in Liverpool.

As a Perl Developer you will need to have excellent Linux skills, though candidates of all levels will be considered providing you have a good Perl Development background. Preferably you will have skills in MySQL, Apache and Exim. A good knowledge of networking would be useful, reporting to our Head of Systems you will learn about the management of large clustered platforms and challenging demands that come with such.

All of Switch Media's systems are built in house, with interesting and challenging levels of integration with other processes within the organisation.

The Web Hosting platform is clustered and end customers can configure all aspects of their account from a web based control panel, your job is to enable these functions seemingly into systems and in doing so helping the company stay one step ahead of its competitors.
